7 1/2″ high by 10 1/2″ wide

This large hand coiled and traditionally fired bowl is gorgeous. Because of the wonderful firing, and fantastic painting, it exhibits such a rich warm overall tone. It shows a departure from her highly contrasting white pottery. The lip and bottom of this bowl are slipped with a deep terra cotta color. The black and white patterns are in contrast to those red tones. The horizontal panels of complex and precise design work are repetitive, symmetrical and magnificent.
