Laguna potter Myron Sarracino, who has revived several old-style designs by basing his work from pottery shards found at Tularosa, created this gorgeous cylinder that walks the line between traditional and contemporary. The shape of the piece seems to be on the contemporary side, while the designs include reoccurring spirals and stair steps along the center in black and white. The top and bottom of the piece have distinctive painted dots. This is the first time we have had this shape from him.

7” high by 4” wide
