Mark did make many miniatures but here is one that he created in 1990.

Like all of his work, the seed bowl was hand coiled, painted with natural pigments and then fired outdoors. He painted beautiful feather designs set into a floral pattern. He painted X’s all over the entire bowl – top and bottom. The pieces is round but flat on the top so you can see his design work very well. The round opening in the center is bordered by a brown square which acts as the center of the flower. It’s a great example of his traditional work in miniature size.

1 ¾” high by 3” wide
