The extraordinary incising decorating this hand coiled bear is amazing. On one side is the mother bear catching the fish, and the other side shows the bear cub. He explains, “The more detailed look was a fun take of contrast from realistic looking bears to the signature shape of the piece. A larger mother bear on one side has caught some fresh trout for the younger cub on the other side. Not only is the bear providing food but also knowledge of fishing for survival abilities to their offspring. I call it “How to live in the wild”
Especially nice is the addition of the classic Greek design on the top and on the inside of the legs. Terrific work!
