We have not had a free standing quail for quite a long time, so I asked Jennifer to make me a mother quail with two baby chicks. This “family” turned out beautifully. They are hand coiled, incised and painted with natural pigments, and fired outside. The mama is polished and fired black, and the chicks are a tan micaceous clay. The quail is a small ground-nesting game bird in the pheasant family. Jennifer expertly shows all the details in her design work.

Mama: 2 1/2″ high by 2 1/2″ long by 1 1/4″ wide
Chicks: 1” high by 1 ½” long
$630 for the family of three
