New and unique, we have not had a piece with red foxes before. The red fox is the largest of the true foxes and one of the most widely distributed members of the order Carnivora, being present across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America and Eurasia. Red foxes are born black or brown and start developing their reddish tones around 2-3 months old. Their color ranges from a light orange, resembling dark yellow, to a dark orange.

This highly polished black bowl has three strong and colorful red foxes. The accuracy of the incising and the painting is remarkable. Look at the details of the faces of the foxes and their textured furry coats. The bottom area is etched with floral patterns, an avanyu, and dragonflies.
