Ida has been working on a series of clay tiles for us. Each one is different, and each one depicts part of the Navajo ceremonial experiences. They are all done with all natural materials – the clay, the pigments and slips, and the firings. Each one has the titles on the back – naming the images she has painted. They look wonderful individually or as a group.

This one is called “The Holy Ones” – Blessing Father Sky. From left to right – The Humpback, The Female God and The Talking God. They are separated by the corn stalks, and are shown at night with the starry sky above.
