We continue to be so pleased to showcase the work of Farrell and Rey. This is a handmade Jacla two strand necklace. “Jacla” refers to the sacred corn revered by the Santo Domingo Pueblo. Farrell and Rey used Kingman turquoise and spiny oyster shell on this magnificent double strand necklace. It is made in the traditional way, with wax string. This way, with the tie in the back, it can be worn short or long, and be more secure than having a clasp. The colors of these particular stones are gorgeous.

Congratulations to Farrell and Rey for winning BEST OF SHOW at the Tesoro Indian Market, May 31, 2019!

15 ½” long (the actual bead work) with an extension of 6 ½” on the wax string on each side
