Donovan Crespin
Santo Domingo
Donovan’s work is very beautiful. He is the son of Don and Nancy Crespin. His mom was a great silversmith. His parents have both retired from jewelry making. The Crespins taught their five children the incredibly labor-intensive process of making heishi beads by hand. Donovan is in his 50’s and he works full time as the head of all things that need fixing at the village, including the school, clinic, Kivas, and fire station. He is a multi-talented gentleman. He has been making jewelry since he was old enough to hold tools. His sister is Elosie Crespin Padilla. Like her mom, she is becoming a famous silversmith. Donovan specializes in multi color heishe.
