This new necklace by Allen is extraordinary. It is a handmade sterling silver necklace (double twisted silver) with an incredibly detailed pendant – hand stamped and painted clays. It is kiln fired with underglaze, and then fired and embedded onto the silver. The detailed painting is amazing. Using Native symbols, this is a stunning creation. This pendant displays Navajo geometric symbols in abstract patterns. He is depicting lightning, rain, energy and the four elements. So intricate! The silverwork around the painted clays, is also elaborate with eleven raised dots of silver, and three elongated silver ribs at the bottom. Such creativity is needed for this kind of work, and it is certainly a one of a kind unique pendant and chain.
