She is a sister of Rebecca Lucario, Marilyn Lewis Ray, Judy Lewis, Carolyn Lewis Concho, and sister-in-law of Sharon G. Lewis. She makes traditional polychrome seed pots, bowls, and various other pieces. Her work is included in several major reference books for Pueblo pottery. Diane’s pottery is noted for its detail and vibrant, natural pigments. Among her favorite subjects are pre-historic Mimbres animals, Kokopelli, lizards, bugs, fish, and other water symbols. She has also been working on black and white eye dazzler patterns.
