6 ¾” high by 8” wide

Here is a fully polished kiva bowl, with a step design rising from the back of the piece. The “kiva steps” are representative of the Kiva, which is where all ceremonial religious activities take place. The shoulder on the bowl is very sharp and creates a beautiful edge as the piece rises to the terraced side. The inside of the bowl is slipped with micaceous clay. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair. Tina won numerous awards for her pottery at Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Market, and her work can also be found in museums around the country. This is such an elegant example of her marvelous polished ware.
