Working with Harrison brings me such pleasure. We have been friends for 24 years, and his work just gets better and better. What I appreciate so much about this new jar is the wonderful Navajo imagery he has carved. Harrison continues to hand coil each piece, and fire outside. His carvings are deep and clean and precise, and the tones he achieves through his natural firings are superb.

This large black jar shows the Navajo female Yei figure, contemporary feathers, the eternal spiral, dragonfly, hummingbirds with the wind blowing, and stars. All these design elements work well together on this stunning jar.
