Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration created these beautiful earrings in his signature style, using both turquoise and sterling silver to create traditional maidens. Each earring showcases a dangling, oval turquoise stone set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. Each stone is blue-green in color and contains substantial portions of light brown matrix running throughout. The post of each earring features a sterling silver maiden head, complete with deeply grooved rectangular eyes and a round, appliqued mouth. The forehead is stamped with vertical and horizontal lines, while the head is surrounded on two sides by a sterling silver tablita cut out with step patterns along the edges and stamped with step patterns as well. Each head is finished with a delicate sterling silver feather on top.

1 5/8″ long x 1 1/8″ wide. Earrings are post.
