     Sullivan Shebola is a master at inlaid ducks and roosters. Here is an example of each. They are beautifully carved and colorful and textured.

     Sullivan has such a knack for carving roosters and ducks. The combined mosaic of shells and stones and turquoise eyes and beaks is so great. We adore these tails made out of shell.

     Jane Quam is a 6 Directional "specialist" These pieces are wonderfully designed and carved. To the Zuni Indian, there are six cardinal directions. The six directions are each represented by a mountain of a different color; they are the guardians of these six regions and the masters of the medicine powers for that region. The fetishes of the six directions are animals of prey and are as follows:

* North -----------Mountain Lion (yellow)
* West ------------Bear (black or blue
* South -----------Badger (red)
* East ------------Wolf (white)
* Upper Region --Eagle (all colors)
* Lower Region --Mole (black)

     It is always exciting to find new, young, talented artists; Denise Concho is 15 years old and is carving some beautiful bears with fish and arrowheads. Each one has turquoise eyes and turquoise in the fish. They are on a stone platform. It is great to see young talent!
